GAC to Televise Chris's
Visit to Iraq & Germany
Chris is back safe and sound from the Stars for Stripes tour in Germany and Iraq. GAC will televise a one-hour special in December documenting the visit. Several of the soldiers have expressed their appreciation for Chris and Craig Morgan's visit through emails, myspace posts and on Chris's official message board. SSG Richard Gallego gave us permission to share his message and photo with Chris fans.

I appreciate you coming to Iraq to put on a show!! You and Craig Morgan were awesome. You don't understand how much it means to the Soldiers, Airmen, Navy, and Marines when we get to spend some down time with visitors. For a minute there it seemed like I was back home and all the drama of the war was gone. THANK YOU!!! I sent a recording of you singing “Gettin' You Home” to my wife and she is so envious. I promised her we would see you in the states…
It was cool that you were in shock because we knew your music. I wish they sold your new CD here. Hopefully my wife can find it in the states and send it to me somehow. I passed out the last CDs you sent to friends here, so they can enjoy your music. I hope you will make a trip to Cowboys Dance Hall in San Antonio Texas after January. I still have 3 1/2 months left in Iraq and will miss your show in Dallas. Thanks again for your support and keep up the great music.

Ghosts, goblins, witches and Chris? Among the interesting Halloween costumes we heard about this year, one caught our attention. The youngster of a Chris fan stated he was dressing up as CHRIS YOUNG this year. All he claimed he needed was a black cowboy hat, boots and a guitar. Note to the Mom of this Chris Young wannabe: Please send us a photo!
